Summary: A Mistake!!!
Comment: So my uncle wanted to be nice and bought this webcam for our family. It worked... until he left! The computer would just shut down when we tried to run it, it refused to work with aim and finally the computer wouldn't recognize it's existence at all! The infrared nightvision thing worked for a bit but it soon crashed. All in all it's a bad camera.

Summary: Great camera for the price
Comment: This camera is excellent for its price. I paid around $15 with shipping. I haven't used it with the audio part yet since I haven't had the need to. It works perfectly with Yahoo. Only thing preventing it from getting a 4/5 star rating is that the camera does not have Vista 64 drivers (not a major issue if you don't use that version of Windows) and there is no way to control the lights on it. Don't believe the "night vision" claims, just because it has 6 leds on the front that are turned on in low light environments does not mean it is night vision.
I would recommend this camera if you just need something cheap and simple.

Minus:
Sometimes the nightvision is turned-on even though it is day, i.e., when the cam is in a comparatively dim-lit place, it starts glowing. And I hafta put it under the light source to turn it off.

Summary: I bought an Identical Cam on this site
Comment: Hey I bought an identically designed cam on this site that was for like 7.95 plus shipping. I think it was under 15.00 delivered. It is the exact design as this. This one does have some sales copy that sounds better. 1.3 Megapixel. The other identical one says on the package 1300k Pixels. That is another way to say 1.3 megapixel as far as I know. You will see the other one if you searh for it looks the same. All I can say is the other one is very clear. When your on the cam using it with messenger it is more than you need with a vivid sharp image. Go ahead and spend 40 dollars plus shipping if you want but as God as my witness the other one is great. I wrote a review on it if you would like to read it. Seriously though I am easily disapointed by products I buy. But when I get a good deal I will tell the truth on reviews since that is who I am. However if it was a negative I like to write the negatives just as much and maybe even more. I hate getting burned on things online. Since it costs you to send them back.
