Comment: Got my Belkin USB 2.0 4-port 30 days ago. It's been used every day since. It really is a handy, dandy gadget. One of my laptop USB ports stopped working, and I purchased this to help me out. It works great. I highly suggest getting one if you're short on USB ports.

Comment: I needed a USB hub for my PS3, and oddly enough this was a difficult decision.
Powered or un-powered?
Expensive or Cheap - why are the prices of these so wide spread?
There are concerns that powered ones can send power back up into the console and damage it, as well as issues of hooking too many peripherals onto it (an un-powered one) and over drawing power from the console.
I have been using this one for a few months and I think I made the right choice.
I have the PS3 with the following peripherals:
- USB Microphone (Karaoke) (Not for me I Swear!)
- Logitech GT Racing Wheel
- Eye (Web Cam & Integrated Microphone)
- External Hard Drive
With all of that how do you plug in a USB Thumb Drive or charge your controllers?
This is a simple solution that works from a legitimate company for a low price.

Comment: Not much you can say about this, it's small, simple, zero power needed and does exactly what it's supposed to do. Great for my PowerMac Tower with only 2 USB ports....

Comment: I bought this as a Christmas present for my boyfriend who was sick of only having 3 USB ports on his laptop, and then having so much extra to unplug when he needed to take the thing to class. He absolutely loves this hub. Now, he only needs to plug the hub directly into the computer and the hub can take care of the mouse, external hard drive, etc. The square design was an amazing idea because you are guaranteed to be able to plug 4 USB things into it, no matter the size. My hub has all the ports so close together that I can usually only plug in two items instead of four. This hub is a great buy!

Summary: Couldn't've worked better
Comment: I couldn't've asked for anything better. Works the first time, AND WORKS RIGHT. This little item is the most bang for your buck. The only thing that I can find fault with it, as have many others, is that the cord is too short. But works for having a laptop. I have a feeling this will be around long after the laptop isn't. :)
