Comment: I love this webcam, and have recommended it to all my friends looking for a cheap and easy camera to use.

I bought this camera because of the flexible neck that holds the camera. You can either plug it directly into your usb port or use the base with the cable for a longer extension. The camera states do not plug into a usb hub, but that is what I use due to lack of ports. Works fine in hub.
I have bought several webcams under 20 dollars and this one is better than the rest. I love the built in microphone that works with the camera on or off.
This camera comes in many different colors, and I noticed that the reviews for each color vary in stars. All of the colors work the same :)
It has been very reliable, but does tend to freeze for a second when trying to run bigger programs in the background. I do know it is because of my lack of RAM...I have an entry level laptop. I am sure if you have more than 512 RAM, you should not have any problems. It runs well on both XP and Vista. Make sure you install software before plugging the camera in for the first time.
It also takes great still shots. It has a very easy control panel to record videos and edit.
Works great with skype and AIM. I have not tried it with any other programs since those are the only two I use. Also works as a cheap surveillance cam with children's computers.

Comment: I bought this for it's looks and the reviews I'd read. It is really a good looking cam but it only worked for one day on my MAC. I lent it to several people who had MAC's and it worked only one day. I do not know if it works with a PC, maybe I got a bum cam. I would recommend it for it's looks but MAC users BEWARE.

Summary: Terrible customer service and very poor documentation, but good video quality
Comment: I purchased the HUE webcam to produce videos on youtube. The videos produced by this webcam were so poor in quality that I had to delete them from the you tube site. I experimented with a variety of different settings, as well as those suggest by youtube. Each was worse than the last and several were rejected by youtube as unreadable. I called HUE customer service and was told through automatic electronic message that my call would be returned shortly. I never heard back after waiting five days. I then called again and was told that my call would be returned shortly. I have never heard from them. This is a bad camera with truly awful customer service.
However, I should also say that I solved the problem of producing quality videos with the HUE webcam. Here is the solution. Make the video without any compression from the HUE software. Then after filming, import the video into iMovie and export the file using the Web or Web stream format. If you follow this procedure, you will wind up with a quality video on youtube.
I am keeping this a one star review because of the HUE's utter indifference to customer inquiries.

Comment: I bought this camera to use with skype on a mac mini. It is gorgeous to look at, you can plug it directly into a usb port or, for more convenient placement, use the base it comes with and put it anywhere the USB cable will reach. Painless setup, great image quality, and the fact that it has a built in microphone means no additional external mic is required, so one less cable and one less thing to crowd the table.
I have heard the issues regarding iChat, and they're valid, but since I do not use it, I can't really complain about it. Setup was simple, and if I have one gripe is that Amazon does not have all the available colors this camera comes in. But that's obviously a very minor point.
