Comment: Bought it, never worked. The driver disc is unreadable, there is no web-content help, the drivers you get from open source websites do not work either with vista.

Comment: Really. You can see exactly what it is when you are buying it- If you need 5 MP, then look for something else.

This is a dirt cheap, very usable option for students on a budget or grandparents who will want to see their grandchildren when they skype on birthdays and holidays. Tiger Direct has 100% been rock solid every time (6 times, in fact) that I have dealt with them, compare the price to your local options, you really can't go wrong.

By the way- the webcam works very well, the lights can be blinding if you are facing the camera but you can turn them off, and they are great to light an object if you are trying to show something to someone on the other end. I found the included software to be stable and user friendly.

The light on the webcam could also be used as a very strong reading light or a quick light to have available in a low light setting (DJ using a laptop, etc) because the light is fully adjustable.
