Summary: The clamp is a lie/the software messed up my laptop
Comment: I never even got to try this webcam, which I bought to replace an older webcam I had that was not Vista-compatible. The first thing I noticed is that the "clamp" designed to hold it onto my laptop screen is anything but. Clamps grab things. This just kind of has a cheap hinge that appears to be mostly for show. I place it on my laptop, and it just lolls about, removing any chance of decent video or photos, essentially the reason you would buy something like this.
When I installed the software, my computer had trouble restarting - the first and only time this has ever happened - and it had to run repair software just to start again.
I feel taken advantage of by Philips, and I won't be buying anything from the company again. They not only failed to deliver on one of the basic, important selling points of the device, they also endangered by computer.

Summary: Works great -- solid product for the price
Comment: This little webcam is a solid and consistent piece of electronics. It worked right out of the box after installing a simple driver and hasn't failed me yet. Works perfectly with Skype and even comes packaged with some decent video and image capturing software. I'd highly recommend the cam, and the headset isn't too bad either. One of the best values out there for webcams.
Video quality is fairly decent, nothing amazing. But the for the price, it gets the job done and then some.

Summary: Great price and great product
Comment: The 325 has an extremely bright and sharp picture. Installing the disc was very easy and you could select the uploads you want or need. The cam worked on skype right away, even though a note in the instructions suggested it would not. For the price it is an excellent product.
